Progeria is not altered in space as genes are not influenced by time.

They would have to travel at a significant percent of the speed of light for their aging to slow down, but it would only appear slowed down to us. To them they would age the same as they would on earth - their perception of their own aging wouldn't be any different than on earth. They would return say 20 years later less than 20 years older, but that's all. There is no actual physiological change (as far as we know, and according to the theories around time dilation).

Methuselah's Syndrome!
Hopefully by the time we figure out how to travel at relativistic speeds that cause the slowing effect you are talking about, we will have also cured such genetic diseases as this one.

They will not age at a pace that you and I consider normal. They will continue to age at their own rapid pace. This is because the aging is relative.
