An awesome quote from an amazing man--of course, you had a little misquote--it's "He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep TO gain what he cannot lose" but we'll let you go simply because you put such an awesome quote out in public.
What I think about that quote quickly curves inward--do I really give all that I am to the Lord, or do I quote trite, idealistic things to impress others only to go home at night and ignore the call of Christ and waste my life away? Christians are famous for quoting things, but we need to be more consistent about living what we quote. Thanks for the post.

Matthew 6:20; to abandon the perishable and pursue the eternal. I think that it is very well said though I realize that some will not agree with aligning their life this way.

If a person realized that he was chasing after something that he would probably never get, and gave it up for something more reasonable that he could have, then that would be a good decision.
