well, my ex lives three blocks away from me and every time I see him, he gives me a nasty look especially when he's with his girlfriend. He walks by my street all the time and I want to tell him that I'm sorry for the inconvenience that I live here but I can't help it. I guess my question is should it bug me that he keeps giving me nasty looks even though he asked if we could still be friends and I agreed. HELP!!!!!!!!!!

he broke up with me and he lied to me. he said that he wasn't ready for a girlfriend yet, even though three hours before we started dating, he had his best friend ask me best friend out. then he told my best friend some other lie and then he told his brother another lie. when he broke up with me, he said that he wwould probably ask me back out and not to cry.

I think his g/f lives in the trailer court down the other way from me. It goes his trailer court, then mine, and then hers. If that made any sense whatsoever.

Kathryn you need to just let him go ok if he is going by your house all of the time he wants to make you jelous and wants to hurt you. He is a jerk and you deserve so much better than that k. He is trying to prove something. I think he is a jerk and you need to just ignore him!

Just ignore him. Chances are he's just looking for a reaction or he's trying to impress his new girlfriend by treating you badly. Some people don't realize that making other people feel small doesn't make them any bigger, they are actually the smaller person for it. I guess I would ask myself why I would agree to be friends with this person if he can't be honest enough to let his new girlfriend know that you are still friends. Who needs enemies when you have a friend like that? Trust me, if you ignore him, stop trying to be his friend, and do not notice the looks and not let them bother you, he will either straighten out or get the message and move on. He is not worth the hassle, honey. Take it from a girl who's been there.

I think that he's trying to get your attention, especially if he walks down your street in front of you with his new girlfriend. Like, it might be that he still likes you and is trying to make you jealous or it's that he lied when he asked if you guys could still be friends. Which is unlikely. You should never apologize for living where you do. I would deffinitly try to ignore him as much as possible until he is a lot kinder to you and then you two could be friends. But to answer your question... yes, it should bug you.

Hmm...

I wouldnt let it bother you. I dont know who broke up with who and for what for, but either way, it seems like its still bothering him, even though he has someone new in his life. Just because someone moves on doesnt mean there over their past. He could be in the process of moving on but when he sees you, it like throws him back into the past, which is where the nasty looks may come from.

Dont blame yourself because you live that close to him. Obviously he has to understand that he is bound to run into you by default. He either has to get over it or just get over it. Giving you ugly looks is not going to help him any better, it will make it worse. This is more of a problem on his mind, it shouldnt be on your mind. Just ignore him. If he wants to act like he starred in Mean Girls, let him. If he really wanted to be friends, he would atleast wave and move on.

Go about your day and when you see him just pretend he isnt there. When he sees that you dont care, he might stop because its useless.

It shouldn't bother you. And if you guys are really friends, he wouldn't be giving you nasty looks. I think he just has a mean streak. Why would you want to apologize for living there? If he doesn't like it, he can move. Ignore him. He'll eventually give up trying to annoy you.

No I wouldn' let it bother me.You have a right to live any where you want to. I'd wave to him and maybe he'll quit looking at you the way he does. Give him a big smile. That will get to him real bad.

Maybe your mistaking his "dirty looks", but probably not. Um it would bug anyone. Dont even look at him, and ignore him. Or you could try smiling at him instead. I'm sry, what a awkward situation.

if he is shooting you nasty looks, he really doesn't want to be friends...friends don't shoot nasty looks at each other like that...
whatever you do, though, don't apologize...that's lame
i think i would just smile his direction...he is trying to impress his new g/f by making nasty faces at you...don't let it bother you and write off the friendship that never was!
