However, We did not receive a bill for the month of May- Now, they sent a bill for double the amount we owe...Anyways im pregnant and i called the hotline and the customer service reps were gone for the day and the hotline said i was covered until May 31st- But, i just went to the DR yesterday...So, what does this mean? Does this mean my DRS visit i just went to will not be covered or what? Please inform me of this! thanks!

You will have to pay that double bill, for May, AND for June, and then they'll cover the doctor visit.

As long as you pay the two months, you will be OK. The problem would be if you had a gap in coverage. During that gap, they could require you to re-apply and that could prolong your coverage.

Even though you did not receive the bill, you should have technically paid it; you know that you owe money for insurance and need to pay the bill. The notice they send you acts (legally) as a reminder for your convenience; it is not the formal notice that you owe the money.

Good Luck! (With the insurance and the baby)
