What year is it now 2007, wow and to think that we made it thus far...I read that initially Adam and Eve had Cain then Abel, the next son was named Seth, and after that Adam begat many sons and daughters

No, the oldest recorded perdon in the bible was Methusalah. He reached 969 years before the flood took him away. Adam and Eve had lots of kids. Cain, Abel and Seth and after that they continued producing. There is no known number.

No. It is impossible for humans to live for 1000 years. Perhaps, with some form of cryogenics, it might be possible in years to come but it has never happened yet. No-one has yet made 150 let alone 1000.
