you must repent of your sins before you die, be baptised in the Catholic Church, and accept Christ as lord and savior. God will judge you afterwards, heaven, purgatory, or hell. God bless.

Well, I have to ask this question...
How do you know he's repented?
Repentence is true remorse and a willingness to fully turn away and to want to be freed of repeating that mistake ever again.
So, let's say the murder was due to someone being careless or through an accident. Sure, I can see that the person would be truly repentant. Should they be banished from heaven if it were not out out vindictivenss?
However, if a person commits a sin and does it thinking, well I can just repent and God will forgive me. Guess what, if you aren't repenting in your heart, God is not going to forgive. So, it all goes back to whether the person is truly repentant or not.

God knows what's in the hearts of people. Repenting has to do with being truly sorry for what one has done, and working to make it right again. Since a murderer cannot make right what the murderer has done, I don't think God would forgive that act. It's in the 10 Commandments anyway, "Thou shalt not kill," and so is probably an unforgivable sin.
And, whether or not you go to heaven is up to you.

No, sorry. That would be great, but John 3 makes it very clear who goes and who doesn't. Also Romans 10 is very clear. I know it might take you a few minutes to look this up, but it might be worth it. Nowhere in there does it say: " if I am murdered and then the murderer repents I get to go too."

So this murdering Christian most foul has reduced the time allotted to you, the non-Christian, for salvation. Not a problem, look to those disgusting Calvinists, they have a solution. Everyones fate is decided before hand. The Calvinistic God created some people as logs that he will burn forever.

I am a christian, saved by blood of my saviour, Jesus Christ. We all make mistakes, however, murder is a serious crime, and the bible tells us that some sins are unto death and some sins are not unto death. All sins are forgiven by God, when you receive the eternal life through Jesus Christ, because He is the one who has died for you in your place. Therefore, it's not our merit that saves us, but thought the grace Jesus gives us. All that to say one thing.....God sees the heart, the intention of your heart results the outcome. The only sin that will not be forgiven is that you resist the free gift from God...to receive Christ in your life through the Holy Spirit. Therefore, answer to your question is No... you will not be able to get to heaven on your own goodness, you will need Jesus to take you there. As for the person who has murdered you, if he repented and received eternal life through Christ, then yes...he will be there. Nothing we do on our own, like being good does not have anything to do with your salvation, the salvation only comes to you by believing that Jesus died for your sins and rosed from the dead.
I hope I was able to answer your question. God bless. Oliveoil.

What, are you trying to provoke a Christian so you can get a "get into heaven free" pass? I think it's a little more difficult than that. (You know, it that were true, the Crusades would kind of have been a good thing. That's a sick thing to say, isn't it. I'll be a good girl now.)

Because Jesus died on the cross, we all get to tag along wether we are practising christians or not - Jesus was baptised and suffered so that he could make a path for all of us to go to heaven

Why would you want to tag along with your murderer anyway??
I believe that if one believes in God, and does their best to not willfully do evil things, there is a reward waiting in the afterlife.

No, the only way you get to go to Heaven is to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, and believe he died on the cross for you. and repent of your sins. as for the other guy, God would have to deal with him in His own way. were all responsible for our own salvation. but others can encourage us to go the right direction. God gave us our own free will.

No, you also need to repent and be born again.
"Good or bad" is not the criteria for entrance into heaven.
Belief in Jesus Christ is.
