Pretty simple question really, although I'm sure I won't get a single, straightforward answer.

The unrighteous are always asking for a sign/proof. But the Lord says, " greater the blessing are for those that believe and have not seen." This is a straight-forward answer, like I'm sure others will give, but it won't be good enough. It never is good enough to anyone's heart that is fixed on NOT believing.

Well, what kind of proof can we offer except philosophical? Here's a scenario: when I felt God calling me to ministry, it was counter-intuitive to everything that made sense. It meant my husband leaving his job of less than two years, it meant uprooting our family and moving across the country, it meant 4 years of school for a master's degree, it meant great financial sacrifices. If it was my mind, why would I choose these things over what instinctually makes more sense, i.e financial security, the security of staying close to family and friends, etc? The other part is that discerning what is the "voice of God" and what is the individual is done within the context of community, so that there is accountability.

A point that falls on deaf ears. The mind is capable of many things. Just look at schizophrenia... but they call that crazy or demon-possessed. Who is to say that the believer is not possessed by a demon?

Furthermore, one's personal experiences cannot be shared. He can only live the life he supposedly believes in, hoping to show others its benefits through example...

He comes with confirmations that are undeniable. If you wait long enough you'll see, just ask :)
Also, consider the scriptures; Matthew 16:15 He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" 16 Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." 17 And Jesus said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.
The word "reveal", translated from the word "apokalupto", means "to take off the cover, that is, disclose: - reveal." by God's supernatural means, as opposed to the "flesh and blood" reasoning of man, by his own mind, apart from God.
Also see;
Zechariah 4:6 Then he said to me, "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel saying, ' Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' says the LORD of hosts.
John 3:27 John answered and said, " A man can receive nothing unless it has been given him from heaven.
If you study this, you'll find it to be true. It helps to know the Word. If you seek Him, He'll reveal Himself to anybody who simply asks, that's His guarentee. And think about this, if He's God, can He not answer for Himself? In the time being, stay away from rules, even your own.
Eventually, you're going to have to discover this One on one. I wish you well in your journey towards Him, amen.

I've used this argument before. They like to jump to the conclusion that it's God, even though hallucination and many related natural, physical hypotheses are much more likely, yet they're leapt right over as if they don't even exist.

These people are either unaware or unwilling to accept just how capable one's mind is of deceiving oneself.

Here's a pretty straight answer:

Nope, I cannot prove it to you.
Proof would require tangible evidence, and that not what faith is.
Your question is written from the viewpoint of a non-believer. The proof you desire is only discernible spiritually, so you simply won't get it.

Jesus said to look within yourself to find the Kingdom of Heaven. So, I guess it's in the mind/spirit/heart.

David was able to encourage Himself. I know God has given us that ability.

But, I know when God speaks to me or strengthens me - it is beyond what I can do for myself. Sometimes, when He speaks, He tells me things I would not know myself.

This is about as straight forward as it gets.
