Well from the begging of June I have been eating a 1500 calorie diet and exercizing for 30 to 40 minutes.I have seen some changes (with some white strech marks apearing) but I also don't want to screw up and gain weight instead of loosing because of the foods I eat. Well a few minutes ago I was estimating how many calories I ate today, then suddenly when I got to what I ate for dinner (which was beans and rice) I didn't know how many calories they have. I know rice is a bad choice to eat when you're trying to loose weight since it does contain cabohydrates but I just wanna know how many calories does a small bowl of rice and beans have.

And can anyone give me some tips in what foods to eat that will help me loose weight more quicker and what work-outs that can help me? All I do is 100 crunches (Which I rest for 8 seconds after 10 of them),150 rise the roof w/dumbells, and 100 lunges.

Every food is different based on the way it's prepared... did you boil, did you fry, etc... each method adds a different quantity of fat/calories. There are many good resources on the web for fat/calories of things, a good one if calorieking.com but the best sure-fire way of getting the values is to read the labels before cooking and measure the amounts before you cook/eat it. It time consuming, but it allows for the best accurate measurements. Also, beans/rice ARE a major no-no when dieting since it's yes good protein in the beans, but the majority of that meal is all carbs... especially when eating that for dinner... I'd recommend if you like something like that instead to eat it for breakfast (odd combination I know) but who cares... at least something like that, a heavy/carb filled meal for breakfast would get burned throughout the day instead of eating it at night and sleeping soon thereafter... another good resource for fresh fruit/vegies (since they are hard to measure since they have no nutritional labels) is dole.com they have a vast resource of nutritional information on produce. good luck!
