why is my puppy bleeding from a rash?

We thought our golden retriever was bleeding and had a bruse because she got bit by another dog, but when we looked closer we notice she had little red bumps like scabs everywhere. we cleaned a wound and blood came out, it is late and cant ge to the vet until the morning, please help!!!!

Try to cover the rashy area. You can use an ace bandage or an old undershirt. She is prob. licking and chewing on the area. Also, do use Neosporin or store brand prior to covering it. Do your best to watch her. Can you sit with her on the floor and tell her no when she goes to nurse the wounds/

It may because of flies. Flies are really bad at this time of the year. I wouldn't worry about it too much right now. I would put something like Mathialade (I know that isn't spelled correctly, sorry) ointment on it until you can get him to a vet. But I am pretty sure that it because of the flies. When you can get him to the vet that can prescribe him whatever is needed, but the ointment should help until then.

I would keep her confined for the night and get her to the vets first thing in the morning.that is of course it is really bleeding bad then get her to the emergency vet.
If it was scabbed just like people if the scab comes off prematurely it will bleed.
the main thing is find out what is causing the rash.

She has probably been scratching the rash and making it bleed. It doesn't sound like an emergency. I would take her to the vet tomorrow. She may have an allergy or needs to be changed to a different dog food.

Maybe your dog is itching. It's probably because its healing a scab and your doggie is scratching it. Try to prevent this by cutting hiss/her nails or ask a vet. I'm a dog lover but I don't know much about their cuts and stuff.

your dog is getting ...... toxic ...... in the food , the little scabs are a bad reaction , from the ......... toxic ........ , this is the biggest recall of pet food ........ ever , 127 brands ....... so far , they have a protein ........in it ......... melimine , that is toxin .

or a can of salmon ......... make sure , it says ......... made in U.S.A ...........& on the lable.......... ( wild catch )
hard boiled eggs , grown turkey , cooked , brown in frying pan , a little flour , on top , after , turkey browns , (3 Tsb. flour ) & a cup of water , makes gravy , you can mix , your meat , fish , with.......... black eye peas ( can ) or small can of sweet potatoes , or cooked rice........the rice ......... must say , made in U.S.A. .........( no soy protien ) because , there is a recall on rice , was lucky to find ........... one brand @ Walmart called......... Arroz Rico.......long grain.........they have a two lb. & 5 Lb. bag..........the 5 Lb. was only $2.42 , I threw all the other rice out , if you rince this , you will see, no white, milkie water comes off of it , like the other rice , that is toxin . , a little can carrots , in the food is good too,can carrots are solf , you can mash them up , with a fork.
I buried my cat yesterday , the other one , has same as your dog ...... , two other cat ........sick , from pet food , we have two dogs , Germen Sheperd .....10 & Eskimo Spitz 14 , I can't tell you the money , I spent , to the Vet , They can't take the poison ....... out of them , but my dogs & two cats , have grately inproved ......... after two months of.........cooked food ,all treats ........dog biscuits .......chews .... NO
They also like chicken livers ,cooked, mixed with rice.
Your dog needs a allergy pill , vasiline , on the lumps , scabs , just a little , then brush him , gently , takes , some off ,
cooking is hard , at first , but you can cook a big pot , full , freeze in , small baggies , to reheat . NO PAIN PILL ..... will kill , your dog , He needs allergy pills , to control the itch. 5 MG. of predisone , the Vet can't cure them , but treat them , FIRST.............. throw out ......... all dog food & treats
put a small or 1/2 allergy pill in a little butter , put it on top of His ........ home cooked food.
NO Tylonal , toxin . Good luck
& give Him lots of love , He can get better , but , going to take months , won't happen , over night.

For now just clean the wounds with peroxide and slather a good amount of triple anitibiotic ointment on them. The vet will clip, clean and prescibe antibiotics.

Clean it with witch hazel-that dries it up nice and take her to the vet first thing in the morning.

Has he been chewing and biting at it?

If so, this would more than likely be the reason.
