Litllith was Adam's first wife. She rebelled- she didnt want to be the inferior; God made her from the same earth as adam; hence, she was his equal. adam didnt like that. thus, Lillith rebelled, and was cast into hell (much in the style of lucifer) for her rebellion. some scholars think lillith later tempted eve into lesbian sex, and the metaphorical fruit of knowledge was actually a part of lillith's anatomy that eve *cough* "ate". so i wouldnt be surprised if lillith was depicted with a snakes body.

Nothing. Lilith is not mentioned associated with Adam and Eve in the Bible.
Some translations list Lilith in Issiah 34:14 as a night demon. But this passage does not mention Adam and Eve.

Lilith is a creature of the Midrashim, the Jewish legends.
According to Jewish legend, Lilith was created with Adam, formed exactly as he was, from the clay of the earth, and animated with the breath of life from God. However, because she was created equal to him, when Adam demanded her submission, she walked away.
In the exiled lands, she was transubstantiated as a demon.
This, by the way, is the true reason masterbation is forbidden in the Abrahamic faiths -- The sin Onan commited was not masterbation but the breaking of cultural laws and being inhospitable to his brother's wife. Lilith, it is said, prowls the world to look for the seed spilled by masterbation with which to impregnate herself to birth more demons.

In the "lost" books of the Bible Lilith is described as the first woman placed on Earth with Adam. However, because she refused to let him lay on her- signifying his dominion over her ( or with her - probably for copulation-I'm not sure) she was banished. In many countries she was feared and thought of to elicit infertility in woman and overall bad luck.

Lilith is apocryphal. Nothing really to do with the Genesis story.
