I know I already asked this question but some people dont belive me i am 16 and weigh 100 pounds and i am 5'5 ,I am the cheerleading squad captin and this summer we are going to an overweight childrens camp to help the overweight children loose weight and become more healthy.My friends say i am too fat and that i am not helping the children, and they are my height but way 25 pounds more than me I dont eat anymore and i feel very weak...am i fat?

Here's the deal princess. You say you are 5'5 and only 100lbs a.k.a way underweight. A healty weight for you should be around 125lbs. Your "friends" say you are too fat when they are 25lbs heavier than you?? That has nothing to do with helping overweight kids nor does it have anything to do with cheerleading. Put simply they are just envious (jealous) of you (read your last sentence again, it's pretty clear). Trust me I have been there many-a-times. Don't make the same mistake that I did and stop eating. Why you ask? Well one, not eating will make you weak and you will lose tons of energy and two, you will either end up in the hospital being tube fed or in a coffin. The best thing you could possibly do is find an eating plan with enough calories for your body type and stick with it, no more, no less. You are already active, if you want, add on some type of cardio that you enjoy, but don't go overboard because it will not benefit you. Also, to answer your question, you are far from fat. Don't let your "friends" win, they are narrow minded teenagers who have nothing else better to do than to pick on you just to make themselves feel better when they cram a triple bacon cheeseburger down their throats at midnight. If you want to be a good example and succeed in this cheerleading don't mess it up just because of some jealous teenagers. The key to failure is trying to please everyone.

P.S: You are showing early symptoms of anorexia and also some major body image issues. I would highly recommend you see a doctor immediately. I saw one when it was almost too late and I was in the hospital for 2 weeks and it has taken me over two years to get myself back on track. I was your age when I started presenting the same issues you are today. I am 18 now and just getting to enjoy my teenage life...please seek help so you can enjoy yours. Good luck.

The next time you decide to NOT eat anymore to the point of feeling very weak - - - consider that source - - -
You are part of a group of people helping overweight children lose weight - does that not tell you anything?
You already see that they (your so-called "friend") weigh 25 pounds more than you do - - why do you listen to them?
Do you NOT HAVE a mind of your OWN?
How long are you going to allow others to dictate how acceptable you are?
You think they're opinion counts - - what about your opinion?

You sound very underweight. Your so called friends are not friends at all. To say you are fat is insane. I think it's a good thing for you to help out those kids. Get new friends and get checked by a doctor to make sure your low weight isn't compromising your health. You need to eat or you could get very very sick!!

you are definitely not fat. Do not listen to your friends. For your height you should weigh 120lb.. So don't feel you will be doing a disservice for the children. Do not try to lose weight. It's not healthy.

Seriously get over yourself and QUIT asking this question. I see it pop up everywhere. If you are 100 lbs and 5'5 you are obviously too skinny. Stop starving yourself and eat healthy. If you are a cheerleader then you obviously are active - you must eat to keep from being weak. Please don't ask this question again!

your waaaaaaay too skinny. im the same height as you, and i had a stage of being 105 pounds and people told me i was disgustinly skinny all the time and it sucked. ur friends are obviously losers and are just jealous of you (why are they your friends again..? ) so screw what they say. if u like being tooskinny then maintain. but DO NOT LOSE MORE WEIGHT youll look soo nasty please

You are not fat at all. If your friend is being mean she isnt your friend. If your feeling uncomfortable do some crunchs or situps and pushups. If you workout regularly you can feel stronger and more energetic.
