why buy ms word when you can have a better word processor for free.... download openoffice 2 it is compatible with ms word and all the other word processors you can read and write ms word documents you also get a spread sheet data base and power point like programs

The recmmended Office for Vista is Office 2007.
Don't be bothered on buying all the microsoft office in one cd because you can customize your installation of microsoft office whether you want to install only a specific software like MS word. Just select customize and then install it to your computer.
