Thank You for all your help. This is her second litter of puppies but last time she was panting and everything before the water break. She is sleeping in her box right now and keeping me very close in sight. I dont plan on going any where till they are here. I'm so excited!!!!

Goldengal is right. Get everything together and then just stay with her. The pups may not come tonight, but you have to be with her in case she gets into trouble. She should not be left alone at all now until the pups are born. Chances are all will go well, but someone has to be with her just in case.

If anyone else is around I would try and grab some sleep before they go to bed. It maybe a long while before you get the chance again.

Good luck!

Sounds like the beginning of labor to me.Place your pet in an area where she won't be distrubed.Keep an eye on her and when her contractions begin you should see a pup born within 45 minutes to 1 hour,if pushing hard.If not call your vet,as a pup may be lodged in birth canal and a C-section will be required.Just make sure after each pup is borned that the Mom removes the bag of water from head area first and if she doesn't ,you must remove it by tearing the bag off the head of the pup,or pup will drown within seconds, then let the Mom finish cleaning the pup up.Good luck with your new litter.

Sounds like she is getting ready. I would keep her close by tonight and check on her often, even if you have to set your alarm. I usually sleep beside my girls the last few nights before the pups come.

Well tonight may be the night or at the very latest tomorrow. Get the things you need together and watch your dog for signs of labor. It could be a very long night.
