So if i give someone a compliment and they say "ohh your so sweet do i say "thank you" cause that doesn't sound right. Or is that just me?

You could say thanks, I guess it might sound a little weird though. A smile out of appreciation always works instead

It's just you - it'd be a weird-funny kind of response because they haven't exactly given you anything have they???
I find the best response after something like that is "It's not a compliment. It's a fact". Works every time! :0)

wel you could say thanks or yea i try or be modest and say yea i know or say to the other person they are sweet as well
