Some times the steering get s locked and you have to turn the steeing wheel slightly back and forth while trying to turn the key

Did you try moving the steering wheel left and right while turning the key at the same time? Ive had this happen on my car--the steering wheel and ignition just lock up for some reason and thats how I resolve it.

try first making sure the car is all way in park ,and the jiggle the wheel back and forth a little,that should help it un- jam it ,sometimes they will do this if the steering is in a bind when you turn the key off in it,good luck with it.
