I have a tight schedule and this is vacation for about 2 weeks for me until prep school over the summer starts and I want to train myself to work efficently and save the most amount of time I can. The need to sleep has taken so much time from me and I WANT IT BACK! Well naturally this is not possible but I want to be able to sleep less hours maybe up to seven or eight hours each night and still be able to wake up refreshed and not needing to drink green tea or coffee to stay awake. THANKS EVERYONE!

studies have shown that if your able to take 30 minute naps through out the day and night (at least 6 times) that you actually have more "energy" though your waking hours.

study was perfomed on bicyclist for some reason. I guess they are easy to test. heart rate, breathing, and endurace(or willingness) versus distance can calculate "energy" I guess.

oh yes and over all, you won't need more than 4 hours of sleep within a 24 hour period.

all this would need a huge lifestyle change though.

All you really need is 4 hours of REM sleep per night. i.e. deep sleep. So the best way is to go to bed around 11 or 12am and set your alarm to wake you up at 6pm. Since the sun rises earlier during the summer, it will be easy for your body to acclimate to the earlier rising time.
