media center edition 2002 problems?

Question

for some reason when i try to open media center it comes up with an error...ehshell.exe. also if i go into my control panel it shows up as not being installed. and media center is nowhere to be found in my programs list. i know i did not delete mc... but my pc did crash a while back and i had to reboot it from then i couldn't open mc. if that has anything to do with it. how do i fix this.
