my house is brick and white with black trim i want to paint the trim but not sure what color to paint trim any hints the black is ugly and out dated i don't like blue and red is just OUT husband does not like it

What about a nice dark green? I do agree that the black should go: It would make the house look closed up.

Seeing it is brick(red I expect) you could get trim paint that is a match to the darker shade of the brick, and use that as the trim color.

You didn't mention what color brick, and with the colors you've eliminated, I'd do yellow trim and a green door. Both would go ith either red or tan brick.

Burgendy or Hunter Gree or Sage green
