This question is for Muslims and non-muslims....what do you think? Should Muslims have their own communities basically separated from everyone else? Muslims aren't against electricity and stuff so it would be different...more modern...but still separate...except for tourists of course (just like the Amish)!

MoonLit, I enjoy being reminded that NOT everyone is a bigot no matter how many ppl answer yes there will be somebody that says no and that makes me happy.
I have seen ppl on here actually say that they should be 'round up!' so this question is not that off the wall...

I know the Amish weren't forced...I asked it that way to see if anyone thought they should be forced...

I dont think that would work out so great and it would alienate us from everyone else even more. What I want right now to realize that we aren't all arabs and we are not so different from them and living in separate socieities wouldn't help any. We need to move together not away!

All this ignorance amazes me. If anything Muslims are the ones who dont keep preaching and quoting the Quran (like tons of Christians do with the bible) and we dont go and force our religion upon others.
Segregating Muslims will only create more ignorance, because you wont experience what real Muslims act and believe, you'll only hear what the bias media tells you.
Dumbass, many Muslims do not hate the west, just the extremists that do no represent the vast majority.
Why not seperate Christians? Why not seperate Jews? Sikhs?

Why would you want to separate us? The Amish are separate by choice because of the different living styles. Muslims are just like anyone else. If you separated Muslims then you would have to separate every other belief, cult etc... No one is trying to reach utopia sweety... This question makes no sense. The only people who will enjoy this question are those clearly against Muslims...

The Amish really aren't very separate from the rest of America. There's not a day that goes by that I don't see the Amish getting out of a motorized vehicle and going into Wal-mart. So please... As far as segregation, I think we should all live together and deal with it that we have differences. Unless you choose to be separate, you shouldn't be forced to be. P.S. - Muslims go to Wal-mart too.

No! why would you do that? should we separate Atheists, Christians, Jews, Wiccians, and every other religion?
Amish aren't separate they shop in the same stores I do they drive on the same roads I do and there are a lot that have electricity. They might not live in the city or even in towns but they aren't separate.

Gee you cons are good conspiracy theorists. Lol. Obama has done no such thing. Besides if he did I’d be glad because we are too many darn people in this world. We should start by sterilizing half of Africa, India, Latin America and China (they have the most kids). The rule of thumb should be that if you cannot feed yourself you shouldn’t be allowed to have any kids. Period.

The Amish weren't separated by force. They chose to live where and how they do.

I have seen Muslims everywhere in the world. One definitely dangerous thing with them being given their own community is at the end, the host country will be torn to pieces by them asking them for seccession and causing wars if not granted.
The Amish have their own community but their society is not as ruthless as the Muslims. Look at India, Pakistan was so much a part of India, Look at Sri Lanka, Mindanao in the Phillippines and worse the claims in Israel.

the amish dont want to mix with other people its a difference and if muslims want to have their own communities like the amish let them it is a free country let them do what they want as long as they dont bother anyone
