I think it's highly probable that primitive humans actually believed that invisible entities explained what was, to them, inexplicable. However, I also think that it wasn't long before some humans saw the potential for power in such beliefs. I sometimes wonder if the first human in a group who figured out how to start a fire presented it as a "miracle" in order to be held in awe by the group.
Although the language of psychology may be relatively new, the concepts are not.

1) Scripture is man-written, but "God breathed" (Theopneustos - Gr.)
2) Holy Writ is not a science book. It's not a physics book. It's not an astronomy book.
3) The Bible was written for one purpose: "But these are written so that you may come to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that through believing you may have life in his name" John 20:31

sure, it sort of feels all religions are guy-made and all gods are an attempt by utilizing guy (or woman) to describe that which exists. maximum religions have user-friendly techniques concerning tribal or societal ideals and those could be marvelous... yet those techniques do no longer originate from faith. a marvelous occasion is the "Do unto others" theory that seems to be user-friendly for the duration of a great selection of important and minor religions. If human beings could wrap their heads around those wider societal techniques with no need tangled in each and all the small tribal questioning, the international could be a much greater efficient place.

you say there is no such thing as Jesus?
If you know anything about the bible then you know that Jesus rode on the back of a donkey. After Jesus died the donkeys was marked with a cross on their backs. That cross remains on the donkeys back today. That is to show that Jesus was real and he walked on this earth just like you and I are.
.That couldn't be created by a big bang. That was too well thought of :)

Your right the bible is not god. The bible does not speak for god, God can speak for himself. If you have to stop and look at your bible until you realise that it is just a book. It is a book writen by men published by men and distributed by men. It is the word of man setting itself up to speak for god.

You're absolutely right.
RELIGION is man-made,but GOD is self-existence.
The best way to find the reality is STUDY the BIBLE whole-heartedly and pray in Jesus' name.
God bless you.

Pretty much all religion is man made. It is the beliefs and the traditions that are followed that make the faith
