I`m wondering if it would be a turn off for a woman to meet a man having a child under his care , or a possible attraction for a woman that is considering dating? I have a very nice happy daughter who was abandoned by my exwife to my care since she was 5 weeks old. She is almost 6 now , and I have not been dating for a long time since when I`m not working I`m busy trying to be a good father for her. I`m not soliciting anyone , it`s just a hypothetical question.

It could be both! It truly depends on the woman. In my case, I found it very attractive because I saw how he cared, was unselfish, thoughtful, loving, etc., etc. (We are married now, for over 10 years!)
But, other women see all the potential baggage and complications and don't want any part of it.
