What they're squeaking about is every time they try to get their screwball beliefs passed into laws, or have their biblical fairy tales taught as scientific facts in public schools, the Constitution gets in the way. Their ultimate goal is to suspend the Bill of Rights, and turn our free society into a Christian version of Iran. They're currently getting help from the dope in the White House.
American Christians haven't the first clue what real oppression is. They should be praying they never find out.

Anytime anyone losses a freedom they will become upset. Christianity and the government used to be tied like one. Now that it is about EQUAL rights and they are no longer to have their beliefs as the law, they are upset. Just think about it this way from a racial view. The white people have SO many priveleges, and the black people don't. I could list a long page of priveleges that I have because I'm white (for example, I can get banaids in my own skin color, I can be garanteed that my kids will not be picked on due to skin color in school, I will always feel confident to protrect my kids from prejudice, I can be certain that when I turn the t.v. on, people of my race will be on my favorite show as cops mostly and good guys and rarely as criminals, I can be pretty sure that I will not be snubbed in a restaruant or given bad service because of my looks)... this is only an example. Now if you take that away from me.... I would be very very upset. Why? Because it is a privelege taken away from me. That is the same for anyone that loses status.

Members of the Religious Right generally consider anything that is not in line with their dogma to be some sort of manifestation of "persecution"...like other religions getting the same consideration as Christianity does, or the removal of certain long-enjoyed "perks".
There was an incedent recently where a girl from an atheist family was being ostracized, lied about, and even threatened with explusion because she didn't participate in pre-basketball game prayers. Somehow the religious leaders of the town tried to claim that they were somehow being "persecuted" when people took the girls side of the issue.

The Christians believe that this is a christian nation. And anybody who apposes this is opposing them and there for they are oppressed because they can not do everything they want to. Silly really. You'd be surprised how many are against the UCLA even when they help with christian rights. Of course this is not ALL Christians. Only some of them.

Whenever a group has had special privileges, it’s very difficult for them to see those privileges extended to others, and so it feels like oppression to them. It isn’t.
One of the reasons it feels like oppression is that they have to be forced to extend equal rights and privileges to others. They need to be forced because they are not persuaded by reason or humanity or compassion. They experience this as a violation.
People who have had special privileges don’t give them up easily, and this is something we’ve seen over and over. When blacks got the vote, there were white people who felt oppressed. When women got the vote, there were men who felt oppressed. And so on it goes.

Typical christian thinking. They have ruled for two thousand years, and that just isn't enough for them. When they try and b*tch about this, it is as funny as when they try and accuse another of being a hypocrite.

...wait, did you compare Christians to Nazis somewhere in the middle of your question?
And then finish your question saying that Christians are "the oppressors?"
What the hell?
