I Currently I Have A Dell D240 Latitude w/ Windows XP Pro. Im wondering I upgrade it to Windows XP Home, will it work and will it go slow?

It will work. It is not an upgrade. As was stated, that is a down-grade of sorts. The home edition is limited by comparison to the pro addition. If you don't need the pro, home edition is fine. If you already have the pro, then don't waste money on another edition.

Moving from Windows XP Pro to Windows XP Home is not an upgrade; Pro allows you to do a number of things that you can't do with Home (e.g., automatic encryption of files or folders).

Dude stick with XP pro its a better version of windows XP. It has better security for one thing.

If no longer, you're caught having to purchase an XP expert improve disc. you have the potential to enhance your OS without dropping any of your individual records.
