My heroes are my parents. Every year that passes I realize more and more what they did for me and the sacrifices they made, and also the heartaches they went through on account of choices I made.
I have two little toddlers now and they probably think I'm a hero of sorts - as well as my husband. :-)
And speaking of my husband, he is my hero, too. He works so hard to take care of his family and I know he would lay down his life for us.

ON earth, my hero would have to be my Mom. She was the kindest, gentlest woman I have ever known. She truly loved everyone she met and was loved by everyone she met. She made a difference in so many lives while she was on this earth. She was and still is "The wind Beneath My Wings" and I will be forever grateful to have had the honor of calling her mother. As to me being a hero to anyone, I am no hero, I just do the best I can.

my mother was my biggest hero b/c she had 9 children and 1 that was my dad's first born as well so she had 10 total. she was always there for us no matter what we may have done. i really do miss her now that she is gone, i wish she were here to see mine grow ( i know she's watching) . it just isn't the same i want to pick up the phone and call her sometimes and can't. she always managed to find a way to get what we needed. i really miss her ( i love you mom ) !!!!
i try to help anyone that i can if at all possible. if i can't I'll try and help find someone who can. rather it be money or just a shoulder.

i have lots of different heros.
i certainly look up to my parents because they are both great people.
i look up to a lot of pro athletes because of how far they have pushed the sports i am interested in.
i also look up to a lot of authors and photographers because i love to write and photography is one of my biggest hobbies.
i dont really know what i've done to be someone elses hero. all i can really say for myself is that i try to be the best person i can, and if thats enough to be someones hero, than thats awesome.

John Taylor Gatto
a mulitple teacher-of-the-year award winner who had the intestinal fortitude and integrity to call out the the whole stinking institution of compulsory schooling.
read his books, he's saying something profoundly important.
No offense to all the great teachers out there. I don't include you in the condemnation of the system.

Jesus Christ is my Hero. He died on a cross after leaving His Kingdom, for my sake.
I'm not a hero, but, I have always been here for my wife and kids. Unto my death.
