Drive up to Napa and look at Community Projects. They get beautiful dresses donated by bridal stores and people. They are all clean and beautiful. You can find the store in the phone book. Call and ask them if they have any in stock or when they are going to put them on the racks. Plus the proceeds go back into the Community. Also look at Jackie's Consignment. Again the dresses have to be clean and ready to wear. Great prices. Hope this helps! I have bought my daughter beautiful prom dresses there. <><

I recently had visited David's Bridal in Colma, near Daly City. I was amazed at the large selection of inexpensive evening dresses, in addition to Bridal dresses available.

I would go shopping now at a dept store like Macys or Nordstroms because prom dresses are out right now. You can get a gorgeous white dress at a good price now without having to actually go to a bridal salon.

You can try craigslist.org or eBay.com for the used wedding dresses. I also know that kanacca.com is a company in China that makes dresses at a fairly decent cost.

Ebay or Craigslist.com, for sure, if you are a predictable and normal size. You can always have it altered, you have time.
