why do i have no contact with my daughter?

i have my daughter every fri from 2 till sat at 3. my parents have to take her home for sat 3 which is an hour drive, when my daughter gets home at 3 she goes straight to her grandparents till sun at 6, why will the courts not let me have her till 6 on sun? anyone know a good sol in N.I, i am in court every three weeks over this and no progress since nov 06

my ex partner is stuborn and jealous because i have married, i am in court every 3 weeks protesting to get my daughter longer but she keeps refusing, what am i to do?

Keep fighting to see your daughter. Your ex is using your child as a weapon to punish you for your happy new life.
Try to establish this in court, that your ex has no other reason for keeping her from you except to punish you.

With your brief Q, & explaination ill try throw some curve balls @ u!
1, Your ex works wknd's or is busy then?
2, U do not get on with her at all I.e your folks must take her home (Or do you not drive?)
3,Her mother's Grandparents love her & want 2 spend time with her which is total natural if she 1st, or one of many other grand children!
4, Until you can present a good and decent case for having her longer or at least proof that you would be able to look after her alone, or with the help of your parents for the whole weekend or holidays you will struggle to get any help from the courts!
5, You dont explain why you have to go court every 3 weeks!
there must be some info you are holding on to?
6, I dont bame you as this site is full of ppl just wanting to make points & not help other like minded ppl,
7, Just do a search for a decent barrister or legal resresentative in your area who will help you with custordy or access!
8, Never give up hope!

I have 3 kids and I live 10 minutes from them. I had a option to move away but my kids need me as much as I need them so I decided to be a great father and am very proud of that.

Be there for your daughter and DONOT talk bad about her mother in her presense. She loves you and her mother and it is not nice to torture your child for loving her own mother.

Obviously you have created a reason for this. Just enjoy the time you have with daughter and quit fighting. She needs to spend time with both families. Think about what is best for her, not you.

I am a family law attorney. custody battles are the most expensive, protracted, depressing and unfair litigation there is. My question for you is how did you end up living an hour away from your daughter? Did you move or did the mother?

it depends on your age. if you're an adult that has a positive criminal record there is no reason you should not be able to spend more time with her. if you're a under the age of 18 thats just one of the consequences of underaged pregnancy.
