I never thought of it that way, but I suppose it is a kind of unity. I'd much rather see us joining together to send good thoughts, prayers, and energy to those who are in need, though.
It sickens me to think of all the beautiful things that have been lost to us because someone has the twisted need to destroy what they don't like or agree with. Fortunately, the good folks still out number the trolls, and that's a plus in my book.

Well, I'm glad to see some of the really stupid trollish questions gone, but someone's gone a bit nutso with the report button. Personally, I want to know how Debra's doing and these silly report nazi's are ruining it. Sometimes people post out of some emotional need, prayer requests, they need guidance or maybe just understanding, and there's no need for these people to be hitting the report button. If they don't like it, go to another question. Very petty and ignorant.
Sorry, rant mode. You're right, sometimes disgust apparently does bring us together, as odd as that may sound. Being positive is good, (unless you're one of those happy, smiley people who gives me headaches), and sometimes being naive is good too.

At our core level,we are all human beings and as such, are in this thing together. Many of us will never agree on spiritual or political or even some moral issues, but I personally witnessed the backing and sympathy of the major part of this world on 9/11...it brings to mind sadness but in that sadness a feeling of comradery with the human race.
Please do not excuse me for chatting...but I would appreciate an update on Debra's condition...as I have been in prayer for her since last night when she e-mailed me...

And then in swoops JesusFan to crush all your optimism...
Yes, I agree. Posts on Debra M have brought many of us together.
The thing is.. we are always together anyway, for the most part. We just tend to forget that because of the topic at hand. We all have more in common than we care to acknowledge most days. Perhaps it's times like these that allow most of us to put aside the petty BS.

exactamundo... markyyy
I had 2 questions deleted today. I actually responded to the violations committee saying that OF COURSE this is a religious and spirituality forum, and IT's NATURAL for people to ask for prayer in such a section....
I'm just a mite steamed. Don't care about the points at all, but wanted as many peeps as possible to pray for Debra and her family at this time.
I'm disappointed and saddened. :(
blessings :)

The togetherness across the spectrum to support others has been lovely to see :)
So thank you report freaks for bringing so many together for a good cause.

The problem is that it is all automated. Someone got a bug up there a.s.s. and went and reported all those questions out of spite. And Yahoo being as blind as it is, just deleted it without out bothering to look at it.

this is always the way Marky
we always band together when there has been unfairness in here
in a weird way I love it
the love just pours out from people in defense of those who need it
sadly it is at the cost of some beautiful posts
but worth it perhaps ?

Lots of good things have happened because people got disgusted and said "enough!"
