The shop minimum depends on where you live. I've noticed that in my hometown (San Francisco), most shops have a $60 to $75 minimum. When I went to SoCal, the shop minimum was around $100. Just start doing some footwork and go to different shops and ask them how much it will cost. This will give you a chance to kind of scope out a shop before you get the work done.

i would say 100 dollars. that is usually the shop minimum for an hour. and since it is so small it would take less than an hour but they would just charge you 100 bucks. make sure you research the shop thoroughly. and don't listen to anyone when they say not to get it. it's your own body, not theirs so they need to shut up and worry about themselves.

30ish sounds about right. Some people will charge more or less.
Also,
a grandparent w/ a tattoo would be totally hardcore, so don't let fear of the future turn you off.

depending on size, color, and difficulty.I know we charge between $30-$40 but other artists have a minimum so it depends on studio as well.Where we don't have a minimum our prices are considered low.
