Infinity,Bose,JPL?

truely it depends... bose are great for home, infinity are great for the car, and JBL makes the best subs of these three..
the biggest problem with bose is the price will almost always be higher for comparable quality. With that in mind... all of these brands have high and low quality speakers and products, and you really need to first figure out exactly what you want, what you want to spend, and then take a listen to em.. Ultimately, you can get a great sound from any of these brands, but it depends on how much you spend. If you are trying to save money, then listening to the different speakers is more important. Some of these brands make a better lower cost product than others.
What you should do, is just go to a good stereo/audio store and listen to the speakers from the top of the line to the bottom.
I would put them in this order personally...
JL audio - makes the best subs
rockford fosgate - makes great all around
kicker - makes great subs
alpine - great dash units and speakers
infinity - great speakers all around
JBL - great speakers all around
Bose - great speakers, but you have to pay for quality
you can find speaker buyers guides online, or you can check out crutchfield.com for some ideas...
otherwise, just keep scanning the blogs and finding out what others have experienced.

Infinity is ok but there Kappa stuff is a lot better.
Bose blows
and i've never heard of JPL. However, JBL is ok stuff. just ok though.
you should look into brands like the following.
Boston Acousitcs
Diamond Audio
MB Quart
Image Dynamics
Kenwood Excelon
Pioneer Premier
Cause if you think the brands you listed are good, you'll be blown away by how much better these sound

bose is as overated as jl is. its good in a nice stock system but aftermarket is better. out of those id take infinity. polk audio, boston acoustics and infinity are my 3 top picks

Bose is still the best of the best in car audio.The bose cannot be matched by any other system on the market.

There all good brands .... but they both have there lower end products... you get what you paid for so try not too skimp too much.
