One of my favorite dates was getting some KFC and having a picnic on a freeway overpass. It's still talked about by the people that were group dating with us.

I think what she means is favorite first date you've had with someone, ie you've dated a few people and had many first dates.
My favorite started as an accident. I was walking at my college in the pouring rain back to my dorm, getting splashed by passing cars, when this guy pulled over and asked if I wanted a lift. He was cute, so I said ok. We talked a little, and he mentioned going to get some dinner and offered to buy me some McDonalds, because it looked like I was having a rough day. I accepted, and that ended up being our first date. We eventually ditched his car and walked back in the rain, played around in puddles, then we went back to my dorm and watched movies in our underclothes while our stuff dried. That first date lasted 3 days.

My first date with this guy I went to college with... the chemistry was right... we walked through the park around a lake after dinner... actually, a bird pooped on my shoulder... but it was no biggie 'cause things were going so well otherwise.
I guess it was so good because we were enjoying each other's company... we'd know each other for so long before our first date, that there only slight jitters... and we felt comfortable enough to be our true selves.
Wow, thinking about this makes me wish I could date him all over again...
I wonder if he's still single...

My favorite 1st date is when this woman and I went to a beach resort and walk on the seashore while her arms around me and my arms around her and thinking that she's the most beautiful woman that I've ever seen. And then, suddenly I stopped and I looked into her eyes and told her that I will never forget that moment in my life. I kissed her while the sun was setting but she started crying. That's when she told me that she was dying because of a rare type of cancer. She kissed me again but this time it's much more passionate and then she told me that always and forever, I'm going to be her man. I know that it's really weird that this is my favorite 1st date but I've never felt pure love before or even now. That was the first time that I saw her in our 7-year penpal relationship. We were 22. She died after a year...
Some might say that this is a sad story but for me, it's not....

My favorite first date with a guy was when he took me out to an amusement park carnival thing. It was so fun! He even won me some prizes. After that, he took me out to a restaraunt and then we rented a movie and watched it at it house. I loved this date because it pretty much had everything you would want on a date. It was fun, romantic, and it was just nice to snuggle on a couch with him and watch a movie. No wonder I'm still dating the guy!

The first date my husband and I went on was a blast. We were only 19 at the time, so that's why this story will sound kinda juvenile. We went out for French Toast in the morning and then went to the park and played soccer. After that we went to the zoo. It was fun and start to a great relationship.

My favourite first date would have to with my current (and hopefully final) girlfriend:
It started off quite simple - we met online, and started talking about our many similarities. After a couple of days, we stated talking on the phone - for about two hours at a time.
It was during this time that she invited me over to a poker game she was having with some of her friends in college. The day before the game (Friday), she called to say that the game had been cancelled (her friends bailed) - and we talked some more.
The next afternoon (Saturday), she called me up and asked if I wanted to meet up with her for a couple of drinks and to watch the Leafs game (we're both diehard fans). I jumped at the opportunity, and rushed home to get myself ready.
On my way to the Subway station, I picked up two single roses - one Blue, and the other White (the Leafs colours). At this point, all I had was a vague idea of what she looked like (thanks to an older picture from the dating site).
Upon stepping out of the station, a girl gives me a little wave - and a huge smile crossed both of our faces. I could feel the sparks flying immediately!
We walked for a few minutes until we reached a small sports bar, and we got ourselves a booth facing the TV (it was early December, so we needed space for our heavy coats).
We each ordered a beer, and we started talking once again. Every once in a while, we would turn our attention to the game - but it was each other that we were both interested in!
Before we knew it, it was 1:30 in the morning (we met up at around 7:30) - and we were still talking... Not only was the hockey game over (that was their 7th loss in a row at that point), but a second game had already wrapped up without us even noticing!
Being late, we decided to go back to her place. God knows what time it was when we finally did go to sleep - but we were still talking, and learning about each other, as we passed out on the couch together...
It was on that couch that we shared our first kiss - it was just a sweet little peck, but I still rememer it to this day (that was a little over six months ago). And it was the first of many...
And the next afternoon, things just kept getting better... more talking, more closeness - more everything!
In the end, our first date ended up lasting from Saturday evening until early Monday afternoon (when I had to head off to work - and I was several hours late doing that ;) )

My favorite first date was with the man who is now my husband. He took me to a romantic dinner at a little Italian restaurant. Afterward we went down to a lighthouse that has a sort of boardwalk next to it that goes the length of the coast through town. We walked around in the moonlight just holding hands, talking and taking in the scenery. It was very romantic.
