Please be specific! I am working out at the gym and at home about 3-5 days for about 40- 60 minutes for the past month i'm 18 and i have lost 6 lbs already and a few inches sumwhere on my body and i know this because my pants are "looser" but how do i get rid of that belly fat ? what kind of exercises do i need to do both at home and at the gym?

cardio is the only fat burning exercise - it burns fat all over your body - you cant spot reduce body fat. so you will see change in places where body fat is the thinnest sooner than in places where its thickest.
to lose weight you have to do cardio 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45 min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat) and combine it with light weight training (3 days a week) to tone your muscles and not lose them because cardio burns both - fat and muscle (more muscle means faster metabolism)

The more cardio you do , the better. You can't "spot reduce". As your body fat reduces, your abs will show.

sit ups dont only do standard ones tho, lift your knee to your head, rotating knees with eack sit up
