Some people with allergies have to blow their nose a lot, they'd be walking up and down to the restroom all day long. I don't think it is disgusting but of course it does depend how it is done -turn aside a little and try not to sound like an elephant in heat. :-)

Blowing your nose in public is NOT bad manners! Anyway, there is not always a bathroom around.

I don't think everyone thinks it's bad manners anymore, but I consider it bad manners.
So yeah, I go to the bathroom to blow my nose.
Yeah, everyone does it, but it's still gross.
And interrupts my train of thought during a test when someone blows their nose in a loud fashion.

If it's possible then people should go to the bathroom to blow their noses but if there's no bathroom around then it's more polite to blow your nose than to keep sniffing.

No, it's not bad manners. Actually, it's worse to annoying sniffle instead of properly blowing your nose.
