I was taking hydromorphone for my herniated disk and stopped because it was no longer helping me. If I decided to retry it,though I'm pretty sure it won't work, how long doe sit stay in my system.I'm in alot of pain and need to do something. I know all the basics, heat, pt, doctor,,done all of it including cortizone shots!! Nothing freakin helps! I went in to therapy the other day and the pt accidentally shocked me harder than I could take. Since then I have been in more severe pain. I need to do something...what pills have any of you tried for SEVERE pain related to a pinched nerve and siatic pain down the leg. I am thinking of taking my hydromorphone tonight to see if it will even releive my pain a tad. The reason I need to know about how long it will take to get out of my system is because I manage to get my butt out to my car and drive to my therapy appointments..don't ask how I manage,,because that in itself baffles me too.. Thank you for your help..

Hydromorphone or Diliudid is a schedule II narcotic reserved for severe pain. There aren't may pain killers out there that are stronger....perhaps Fenytal. My mom had Diliudid for cancer. Narcotics will detectable for up to 30 days. Effective pain relieve levels will be gone in a matter of hours to 5 days.

There is constantly the entire consistent OTC meds....nevertheless it might be some thing critical. Your health care provider might prescribe a non narcotic med relying on what's the rationale of the suffering. Also, within the ER, I have long gone for extreme suffering and feature obtained Tordol...they advised me it's the most powerful treatment you'll be able to obtain that is not a narcotic, and it really works high-quality! Good good fortune.
