I would wait a few weeks. 2 weeks is pretty early to be telling people anyway. Let your brother have a few weeks of joy, and then you can make your announcement. I am sure your parents will be just as thrilled for you too.

Just wait until the 2nd trimester. That way if something bad happens (God forbid) that you don't have to go through the hurt. Let you brother have his special moment for a little while, then make the announcement, and everyone will be really happy about 2 babies.

Purely as a matter of personal pride you can afford to wait a bit if you choose to, but from your parents' perspective they'll be doubly delighted with the news that both of their children are expecting children of their own. There's no "overshadowing" implied; just a shared spotlight. Congratulations to you all!

when my bf and i found out that i am pregnant it had been like 1 or 2 weeks since his brothers wife made the announcement.. we told everyone and because my bf is older than his brother everyone was much more excited, even his brother!! =P so i dont think its a bad thing.. this is the way it happened.. you didnt plan it, so dont feel bado for this.. go ahead, you deserve the attention..

well i would say to tell them but your rite your brother might thing that your ruining his moment to shine with your mom and dad. i would wait even tho it is a big deal. i would say that sence your wife is 2 weeks id wait for maybe another 2 weeks then tell them that shes a month. thats exciting
so thats my advice and well i know where your comming from but trust me my sister always did that to me. i would have an a she would bring home an a+ and she went on and on my whole life.
i would strongly say to just let your bro have his moment

i would call. i don't think you will overshadow anything. they will just be double thrilled that they have 2 grand babies on the way! and unless you think you have a catty sister-in-law she will also be nothing but thrilled for you and probably excited to have someone to go through it with!
