I have cheerleading camp tomorrow. But I went tanning in the bed today and lost track of time. Now unfortunally my back is burnt. Does anyone know anything I can use with out having to run to town to get alo?

There are so many different products; vaseline is good. Lotion will help. If you have aloe plants, break the tip off and rub the juice into the sun burn. (If it is serious, you will need medical care.) Heck, even butter (or oleo), lard, etc., will help. The Romans used butter for such purposes, because it was expensive to them. We use olive oil, because it is expensive to us.

Put white vinigar in a bath and bath in it, if the burn is really bad it will force it to peel, if it's not really bad it will turn it to a tan.

If you just want to take the heat out of it Noxema works wonders if you have it.

noxema is the best...slather up real good and leave it on. it will stop the sting and the red will disappear. DO NOT use butter, lard or any food product. bacteria can cause an infection and you will land up at your doctors office.
