Anything that has a "victim" needs to be reported.

I would report something if it
a) had a serious impact on someone else
b) there was not a mitigating factor.

Rape, murder, racist attacks etc I would report straight away since it has had a terrible impact on the victim and IMO there is nothing that can make these crimes 'OK'.

Crimes like drug dealing, drink driving, assault I would only report if I thought there was a victim of the crime or if the person doing it had no excuse.

I disagree with people dealing drugs, but if there are no victims, then I could not justify snitching on someone. Some drugs like crack and heroin screw up peoples lives, and I would have no issue about reporting someone who dealt in these to the police.

I would only report something if it was a crime that had a victim. It is immoral to report somebody for a victimless crime because only actions that directly harm others (by violating their rights) should be prohibited.

Personally anything that puts anybody's life (including that of the perpitrator) in danger which I guess covers everything so it should be a blanket answer of yes.

What good will it do to report it? usually cops get to the places after everything has already happened.

Yes I would!!! I've called the cops on loud parties, drug dealers, And idiots that did not have their children properly restrained in traffic( I've seen kids standing in the back seats of pick-ups and fools riding with babies in their lap in bad traffic) that just pisses me off!!!

Yes, I would.
I wouldn't report parking violations and most vehicle code violations, but anything else would be fair game.
