Make a yummy pasta dish. Remove the bratwurst from the casing and brown it with the onion. Then add the sauce and seasonings. Serve over pasta and top it with the cheese. You could even mix it all up, top with the cheeses and bake it until the cheese is bubbly or slightly golden browned.

I would chop the onions and put 1/2 into a warmed pan to flavor the pan. I would slice the bratwurst into 1"slices and sautee pan fry it with the rest of the onions. I would add the pasta(cooked) with garlic and continue to sautee it.
I would put the mixture into a baking pan and top it with pizza sauce and then then the cheeses. I would bake it for 15 minutes at 375.

Why don't you chop your sausage and fry with the onion chopped maybe a little bell pepper if you have it. cook your pasta on the side. when sausage is brown add pizza sauce and some water and simmer slowly for 10 minutes. mix pasta and sauce together.
Layer in a casserole dish with the cheeses ending with a layer of cheese on top. bake until the top cheeze is brown and bubbly. maybe a tossed salad for a side and you have a dinner that should make you proud. Let me know how it comes out

Baked Ziti. Just boil the pasta and layer the ingredients in a baking dish. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes. If you feel like going to the store, get some cottage or ricota cheese to put in it.

Which kind of bratwurst? Northern German style? Southern German? What is also more commonly known as "weisswurst"? Or the fatty, granular stuff called "Wisconsin bratwurst"?
