sometimes when i`m laying down or about to fall asleep, i feel like i`m floating & moving back and forth.. i told my gramma about this [i`m 16] & she`s really religious; she told me it`s an angel carrying me.. but i wanna know what it really is.. it feels co0l though. it only lasts a couple of seconds & it happens every couple of weeks or months. after it`s over, it feels like i`m being placed back into where i`m laying.. what is that?

Well I would defiantly take some space from him and give yourself some time to calm down. Maybe ask him to go stay somewhere else for a few days. See what his actions are then, if he is calling you and attempting to work things out then that's a start. If he goes quiet and doesn't make any attempts then you also have your answer. Then he needs to understand that he messed up and he has to pay whatever price he has to to make the marriage work if that is what he wants. Now as for your friend, I'd probably never speak to her again. That is the problem with some girls, they always have to know they are as attractive as every other girl out there! I'm so sorry you have to deal with this you don't deserve it. Your husband kissing your best friend is a big deal and if he really feels that it isn't lets see how he would feel if it were you kissing his best friend. Good luck and I hope everything works out!

I used to get this feeling, it started like a rocking back and forth then it became like spinning, then floating! This would happen to me on and off for years.I felt like I was paralyzed and if I could just move it would stop. I had a polyp growing out of my left ear. I had surgery to remove the polyp and to my amazement this spinning, rocking and floating stopped never to return again! I never thought that the inner ear was the trouble but it must have been. I even thought I was out of my body. Very scary! If you have ever had a lot of ear infections or a ruptured ear drum have your ear checked out you could have the same problem I had.

I have a constant sense of motion, whether I am standing, sitting, or lying down. It is the result of a high fever that caused some neurological damage in my brain and it feels like I am on a ship at sea in fairly moderate waves all the time. I have learned to adapt over time but am not allowed to drive or work in my profession because of the occasional episodes of severe dizziness that makes me nearly black out without any warning. Neurological or inner ear problems can cause vertigo (dizziness).

Feeling like your floating when your lying down is pretty average and has nothing to do with angles.

Does it feel like you're tilted/spinning at all? I get that sometimes and it's usually as I'm falling asleep too...maybe your senses are just hyperactive as you're about to drift off. Like when you're just about to fall asleep and the softest noise feels like someone is flicking your brain

Yeah, all the time, it's just something your brain does, like when you dream about tripping up and your stomach physically lurches.

It could be your bodily response to shutting down for the night.
