I know there has been a lot of questions on this matter, but I want the Jr. fan oppinions.
I WAS NOT a Hendrick fan ever. I really disliked Gordon and Johnson, but now with Dale there I see many good things. I am one of the BIGGEST Jr. fans around, (I named my son after him). I am glad he went to Hendrick, I think it was a VERY smart move and I think he will have lots of succes. I see jr a championship contender in the next couple of years. I am proud of Jr., and Now I am a Gordon and Johnson fan. With these three, it will be AWESOME!!!
What do you Jr. fans think??

Hey big Tex, Dale Sr. and Jeff Gordon were business partners. Dale and jeff were friends. Did you know that Dale and Jeff got the diecasts companys started?

Well it's about time you saw the light! LOL
I'm sure you know Jeff and Jr are my favorite drivers, (My 1st son is Jeffrey and he's a Jr and had our 6 mo old been a boy we had Dale Reed picked out for a boys name) So this turn of events has been like a CHRISTMAS/bIRTHDAY GIFT ALL ROLLED UP IN ONE!!! ( SORRY baby's messing with keyboard) I think only great things are ahead for Jr!!!
And didn't you love his confidence at the press confrence!!! Yea baby he's ready to do some damage 2008!!!

Isn't it funny how people speak out of their rear-end and not their brain.
I agree with you about it being a good decision for him. I have been a die hard Jr fan since he stepped into the Busch series. After his father's death, for the last couple years, he hasn't been very happy, especially this year. I haven't seen Jr as happy as he was today at that press conference in a long long time. It makes me happy to see him so happy. Eventhough I would have loved to see him go to RCR, I think Hendrick is the best business decision for him, and he also stated he doesn't want to drive the #3 until the end of his career and i think he has a good plan for himself. Hendrick is on top, and I think that's where he will be most successful. I don't care much for Jimmie or Jeff, but I don't hate either one of them and i don't dislike Jeff as much as i use to, i've seen somewhat of a change in him. Although it wont really make me a fan of theirs, Dale Jr is now their teammate, and regardless of where Jr is, I will be supporting him and will continue to be a die hard fan of his. I'm glad to see him moving in a positive direction.

I never liked Gordon, but I had respect for his skills on a racetrack. Sr. & Gordon got along great off the track had many bissiness ventures etc.....I also saw an interview with Sr. where he stated that Gordon is a great talent on the track.
Junior has gotten EXACTLY what he wanted.....to win and contend for championships NOW. I am looking forward to the next few years for Jr, Gordon, Casey & JImmie.....
For the first ever I say "GO HENDRICK MOTORSPORTS!!!"

JR is awesome for one. Now for the rest of your question. I have never been a Gordon fan and dont know if I will be or not, time will tell. I do think JR did what was best for HIM, not his fans!!!!!!!! He needed to get away from the stigma of DEI and always being compared to his Dad. He just wants an honest chance to prove himself and if going with HMS is going to give him that opportunity then GO FOR IT JR!!!!!!!!!!
A1c, Jeff didnt like the way Sr. drove???? I do hope you know that Sr. taught Jeff most of what he knows about racing. If you would bother to really watch how Jeff races you might be surprised to see some Dale Sr. in there!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm still not a Gordon and Johnson fan, but I think that Hendrick will have a new champion contender in the next few years. Go Junior!

I am a Jr. fan period. I don't dislike The rest of the team. I'm just a Jr. fan. Just like I will forever be a Cubs fan. The Nascar Family is a terrific family and there are several drivers that I'm always pleased with when it can"t be my man Jr. I'ts the total love of the sport.

The Truth is it is a good move for Jr. Although Sr. never really got along great with Gordon because he thought Gordon was a wuss but Sr(RIP) would role over in his grave if he knew what was happening with his company and all the BS going on around. I would have rather seen him go to Gibbs or even better Childress but this was probably the best move he could make.
EDIT: I stand corrected then however the one thing that is true is Gordon didn't like the way Sr drove.

People think JG and Dale Sr were enemies.They were on the track,but not off.Hendrick will definitely be a force to deal with.Not that they aren't already.
