Unfortunately it's true that Chris left Audioslave. I don't think it's a sign of end times though. I am very sad about the breakup because I LOVED their music. BTW, his new solo album is AWESOME!!! I love everything Chris does anyway. Here's a couple articles about the band's breakup.

Isn't it better for Audioslave to live fast, die young and leave a good looking body of work? I loved Audioslave and am sad to see them go. It was a great band.
