The man has not won his own title of his own, never did anything to deserve this much attention. Just another wanna be coasting on dad's name.

i totally agree with above statement!! he has been sucking up all the hype since hes dad died, he needs to become a real driver and do something for himself.... when is he gonna start winning races? i think they arent telling the real story behind why he left DEI. a few people have actaully said something romantic between him and theresa went sour and thats why he isnt with them anymore. and also if hes such a ladies man where is any ladies at? why havent we seen any with him? makes you wander huh???

So, you're saying, anybody who hasn't won a Nextel Cup Title is unsuccessful and hasn't done crap, right? By your statement, that's EXACTLY what you are saying. Which is an extremely ignorant statement. Try paying attention. He has been successful in certain ways, and of course there's been people that so far has accomplished more than him, and a lot of those ppl have been in the sport longer too. Every driver goes thru different hurdles, and every driver and their sucess is different. People like you who are so damn bitter tossing out things that are nowhere close to fact, are not NASCAR fans nor should you ever be referred to as such. Get over it and move on, have some class and sportsmenship, then maybe someone might care about your so called opinion.
And just for the record, I started following Jr when he came to Busch, b/c of his driving and him as a person. At that time i didn't like his father very much, so again i say, know what you're talking about before you speak, or you prove yourself as the fool you are.

Oh for god's sake get off this, If his name was Joe Smith no one would say s**t. How's about we compare him to another driver, Matt Kenseth(nothing against Matt this just for sake of comparison) no one says boo about him but, his and Jr's numbers a very close to one another
Jr.- 17 wins, 69 top-5's , 109 top-10's
Kenseth- 15 wins, 66 top-5's, 120 top-10's
ok I'll admit my stats are from the end of the '06 season but still the numbers are similar. Yes Kennseth has a championship, but remember for all he's done Mark Martin's never won one either. People like Jr because when he screws up, he owns up to it, and when other drivers mess him up he doesn't point fingers.

I don't understand how you can say that when he has 17 wins in NASCAR. Sure he is riding on his fathers coat tails but he is a good driver. Mark Martin has not won a title yet either and he has been in NASCAR for years. Yet he his very popular with the fans and drivers.

He's done more than you, and has way more money than you!! He is the biggest name in NASCAR because of his name .......YES!! But I am an Earnhardt fan all the way. People just pick a driver and stick with them through thick and thin. It may take a while for a win, But the fans are loyal! And just because they drive a car at 200mph, that don't mean why that person is their fan.

Your a moron, he has 17 Cup wins since moving to the Nextel Cup series in 2000. Only Gordon (30), Johnson (27) and Tony Stewart (26) have won more races during that time.

Not a jr. fan but, he is one of 4 drivers that have won 17 races since 2000. Gordon, Stewart, and Johnson, thats not bad company to be associated with.

That is NASCAR...it is a business and if you can get enough fans to bring in the money it doesn't matter if you have been winning or if you run other drivers into the wall or whatever... it is all about the MONEY:)

I'm no Jr fan.But I respect him because he will admit it if he causes a crash.He also respects the older drivers.
