Does anyone have any quick easy recipes? Put it this way... I burn things in the microwave... lol I have no idea why i have such bad luck in the kitchen!

Invest in a crockpot, there are many recipes you can use and there's nothing simpler. For instance, 1 pack of short ribs; 2 tablespoons of seasoning salt; 1/4 teaspoon of mesquite smoke; 1 small onion, sliced; 1 small bell pepper (red or green will do), slliced; 1 can of beef broth and 1 can of water. Put all ingredients in the crock pot and set on low and let cook 6 to 8 hours. The meat will fall off the bone. You can serve with a nice simple salad. Another one is a non-cook dessert: No-Bake cheesecake, 2 packages (8 ounces) cream cheese, enough powder sugar to sweeten to your taste, 2 teaspoons vanilla, 1 small box of any flavor gelatin you like most, and 2 teaspoons of lemon juice. Combine ingredients and put into a ready made graham crust and refrigerate about 3 to 4 hours or till set (semi-firm to touch) and service.

I swear, you can't go wrong with a crock pot. Most of them always come with a cookbook but they also sell them specifically for crock pots. It's very simple, just throw everything in the pot, turn on high or low (whatever recipe says) and walk away! I used to be a terrible cook too, but I started with my crock pot and now, 15 years later and many episodes on Food Network, I can cook and love it! You'll get it sweetie, just have fun and keep it simple!

Thats my specialty babe......
Learn slow by reading recipies and being creative for example stir fry is easy and you can mix and match everything from meats to beans, vegetables, to sauces, over pasta or rice, and it is good for the heart as well. Keep in mind some things cook quicker like mushrooms, brocolli, and spinach where as onins and peppers take a little longer. cook the meats first then add vegatables and keep them crisp.

LOL LOL Get hold of a book by Delia Smith called How to Cook - it covers everything right back to basics, like how to boil an egg.
