Uhhh... Humans DID create it. The Bible was written by people, for people, about people. There ain't no God involved in it.

Do i think man would have created it anyway....possibly.

But i also do not believe that all people who follow the bible are living that way just to escape hell, fire, and brimstone for all of eternity. Perhaps they have found comfort and peace with their decision to follow the path that is right for them.

Blessed Be )o(

That's why there are so many Christians. Believe and you live an eternal peace or don't believe and you burn forever. With all the simple people back then who wouldn't believe it? Except for the Romans who also had a hell. Then it was passed down from all the simple parents to all their simple little kids until today.

Other religions did come up with eternal punishments after death. Check out your myths--Hades, Hela, etc. Even the reincarnation bunch have punishment in that you come back as something low after living an evil life.
And that's all Hell really is, isn't it? The absence of good & punishment for your sins?

Jesus said, "If you LOVE ME, keep my commandments." We are not able to earn our way to paradise, it is by the Grace of God, for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

The idea of burning for eternity is a misconception. If taken in context, the whole Bible teaches that Satan and his angels will be destroyed after judgment has taken place. The Bible also teaches that when they are destroyed, the fire will not be something to warm up with, but will be a consuming fire. Those who choose to die with Satan will be ashes, not tortured for eternity.

well false premise as usual...nobody burns for eternity..rather as it is written they are turned to ASHES...and the smoke rises forever...being out of the eternity and with God is "eternal damnation".
more directly if the bible didn't mention it i'm sure man would find a way to invent it...man invented atheism the opiate of the a$$es....

Doesnt matter what man would or would not do. It is what God tells us that matters No true Christian obeys God to keep from going to hell. Thats surely a perk, amen. But, we obey God because He loves us, we love Him, and we know He is almighty God and He knows what is best for us. We want to be with HIm forever in Heaven. We even get our loved ones back. Its all a positive reason to believe. For someone to say they believe to avoid hell, is just not true believing.
So, do you love your mom to get her to love you. ? Do you obey your mother so she wont spank you? OR do we obey, out of love and respect and honor for those that love us back. ? If you cant grasp that, I canthelp you, noone can, and you know what God wont force you to either. ITs all about precious choice, BUt God loves you as much as He loves me, and He so eagerly forgives. ALl you have to do is ask Him to be real to you and forgive you, and watch your life turn around in a nano second.
You come on. Just cuz you cant grasp a concept, doesnt make it real. I never did understand algebra, but its still real, huh?
Hell is in the Bible and not a place I would want to go. Are you willing to risk that without first studying for yourself and looking for truth? Your choice. God bless you in your search. Remember God loves you and is eager to forgive
stop mocking God please as you will have such a price to pay. God forbid...
