Dress appropriately, look the person directly n the eye, and be prepared, and speak proper English not street talk very important. SOme questions you might be asked
Why do you want this job?
Why are you a better choice than other candidates?
How would you deal with an upset customer?
What is you goal, or where do you see yourself in five years?
What are your strong points?
What are your weak points, and what are you doing to improve them?
If you see a co-worker stealing what would you do?
If you have a problem with a manager or boss how would you handle it?
Just a few questions you might be asked in order for you to be ready, and not on the spot. Good luck to you

I am sure you will do great in this interview. Your vibrant personality even shines through in your question.
Since this is an entry-level job at a retail store, you should dress casually, still looking very presentable. This means, no jeans, no tennis shoes. Maybe a polo shirt and khaki pants would look good for Target, since it is similar to their uniform. Just make sure you are well-groomed and looking your best.
What to say: Just be positive. Talk positively about the opportunity and what you bring to the job: experience, good people skills, responsibility, punctuality. These are the qualities they will be looking for in an employee. Even if you don't have work experience, life experience is sometimes even more valuable.
Take your time when you speak, but don't say "Umm" a lot, ot "ya know", or "like". These pitfalls can be avoided by talking slow enough that you can think of what you want to say without needing to pause. Also, try not to talk with too many hand gestures. This is a common habit that probably annoys interviewers. It is hard for people to keep their attention on what you are saying when their eyes are drawn to your hands.
Last but not least. don't be nervous. Keep telling yourself that you are going to get this job-- and smile. Positive attitudes go a long way. If you make a mistake, just be gracious about it, and keep going. Remember hiring managers are people, too!!!! They have been right where you are before.
Best wishes!

It might help if you knew a little bit about how the process usually works:
First, they may tell you a little bit about the job and what they are looking for in an employee for this job. It would not hurt to take notes when the interviewer is giving you this information. This will help you later when you need to answer or ask questions you can refer to this information to help frame your responses or questions. If they don't start with this, and simply start by asking you questions, you may want to ask them if they would mind giving you this information first before you answer questions so you have a better idea of what the job entails and what they are looking for in an employee.
Next, they will review or ask about your experience and qualifications. It would not hurt to ask them here what they think are the three most important qualifications they are looking for in this job. Then, find work experiences, or experiences in athletics or in school where you think you have demonstrated the qualities they are looking for.
Then, they may talk about pay, benefits, work schedule. And, finally, they may ask if you have any questions. When you have this opportunity, you might have already come up with some questions from the things they have told you. In addition, you might want to ask them about your immediate supervisor and the other people you will be working with. Ask them for advice on how to succeed in this position and in the company. You might want to talk about any family vacation plans you have and if that will present any problems. And, you could ask them about how the interview process will be completed, if there will be any other interviews you need to prepare for and how long before they will make their final decision.
In closing, if you really like the job, tell them so. Explain why you like the job. And, summarize what they have told you they are looking for in an employee and why you fit what they are looking for.
If you are applying for a store clerk position, You may not want to be overdressed, but you should be clean, well-groomed and neat. Nice slacks, a blouse and dress shoes would probably work. (I would not recommend tennis shoes unless that is all you have.)
Don't be afraid to say you don't know something they ask. Ask for time to think of an answer if something doesn't come to your mind right away when they ask you a question. Don't chew gum. Act confident even if you are not (after awhile it will actually give you the confidence you don't feel.)
Good Luck.

Wear conservative clothes. Like slacks and a blouce. Not too much make up. Wear your hair up. Shake hands with the person giving the interview. Always make eye contact. When the interview is over thank the person for their time in interviewing you. They will probably ask you something like what are your strengths and weaknesses. Where do you see yourself in 5 years. How do you feel about working with other people on a team.,ect. ect. So be prepared for that.
Good luck !!!

Try to find out as much as you can about Target between now and tomorrow. They will be on the net. They will want to know why you want to work for them. Tell them you have heard a lot of good things about Target and have shopped there in the past, and think it is a good store and that you will have a great chance for advancement with them. Not too much make-up, a nice dress, a good deodorant, not too much perfume, sit straight up and don;'t slouch. AND FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE BE ON TIME. A lot of good answers are above.
Try to smile as much as possible and if they ask whether you have questions, ask about some of the things you have learnt about them on the net. SALARY? Try to find out about the starting salary for the position you are seeking, but don't bring it up, unless asked. Good luck.

Always dress to impress whether you are interviewing at a bank or a gas station. (Don't overdo hair and makeup) Answer all questions honestly. Don't over think or you may get too nervous. Do not fidget with things, just sit with you hands in your lap, sit up straight and talk clearly. Good luck!

Don't wear jeans or a t-shirt. Wear some nice slacks or khakis, or a long or knee-length skirt. Wear a button-down shirt or nice top. Keep the jewelry to a minimum - something nice and simple, a necklace or earrings.
Remember your interview starts the second you walk in the door, so be polite to and smile at everyone you see. When you meet your interviewer, stand, greet them with a smile, and shake their hand. Speak clearly and slowly, and give full answers - don't resort to slang or text-speak. Be honest and positive.
good luck!

wear something professional (slacks/skirt, blouse), fix your hair nicely, don't wear too much make-up & DON'T wear any perfume. Bring a copy of your resume if you have one, during the interview make sure you smile, don't be nervous, answer the questions professionally, don't use any slang words, tell them you are responsible, reliable & flexible, mention that you work well with people or by yourself with little supervision. Don't talk too much or tell any stories unless they ask you to.

I would dress casual, no jeans and no tennis shoes.
Be confident, answer the questions to the best of your ability, be upfront with your concerns and ask questions.
In an interview, especially your first, no question is a dumb one.
You will do just fine.....Good luck!!!

Dress to impress, but not to much. Relax, listen and answer all questions honestly. Be confident and you will succeed. Make sure you have SS card and picture ID in case you are hired on the spot.
