seriously, right now there could be a psychopathic killer within your family. there either is or there isn't a psychopathic killer in your family. that means that the odds are 50/50 that there is a psychopathic killer in your family. why not call the police right now on whoever you think is a psychopathic killer. it could be one of them. it could be all of them. but before you do make sure you plant some evidence on them. what's the worst that could happen? let's say you're wrong and the person is not a psycopathic killer. nothing happens to you. but what if you're right? then you prevented the psychopathic killer from going on a killing spree. you know what to do. now do it...

Because the fact that it could or could not be true, doesn't make it a 50/50 proposition. The possibility that one of your family members is a psychopathic killer is (I hope) extremely remote, as to make the act of calling the police an absurdity.

Well, thats statistically speaking. If there is a 50/50 chance that he or she is in my family and a 50/50 chance that they are in your family there is the possibility that you should call the police more than myself. Why you ask? Its only statistics and doesn't present itself to one specific family which means that I may NOT have any psychopathic killers in my family and you will have both of them. Why would I plant evidence on my family members when I should ship the evidence to you and you can plant it on your family? You should write a book, this was quite interesting..........

Well, the is/isn't theory doesn't mean 50/50. There's not a 50/50 chance of a check made out for 1,000,000 dollars from Bill Gates in my room.

And I wouldn't want to bring the attention, since I'M THE PSYCHOPATHIC KILLER! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

You are way more than just curious. This is serious psycho thinking yourself. You dont accuse someone of something not knowing that they committed a crime. Or we would all be in jail. Ludicrous. I wonder still where you ppl get these things. Too much time on your hands and not knowing God. Maybe you are the killer, should we report you .?? Get real. No, we can only see you make a mockery of this serious spiritual site. Seek God and find Him, and all will be added unto you.

Having a killer in your family, and believing in God so as to avoid hell are very different things, my friend. Should I turn in an innocent person to avoid being killed, is that what you're getting at?

Makes no sense - we're all gonna die anyway. What difference does it make how we die?

Using your logic there's a 50/50 chance you'll be dead by the time a best answer is chosen for your question.

No matter how you dress it up - and I see you have done it Chucky style - it's still Pascals Wager, it's still in valid and we still don't believe.

I guess for you, it's back to the drawing board.

Is this some twisted new adaptation of Pascal's Wager that you are trying out?
