In the Sicilian language:
spiranza,
pronouced /shpirANTser/ (the "er" sound as in "father")

I think Sicilian is a most appropriate language in which to say "hope" ... historically, Sicily is the cultural crossroads of East, West and South, where three cultures lived in peaceful coexistence and mutual respect a thousand years ago.

Scottish Gaelic.
Hope = Dochas.(DohCHus) The'D' is pronounced like 'Th' in 'That',only with less emphasis, The 'O' is like the 'O' in 'Dog' only with a lot more emphasis, The 'CH' is like the 'CH' in 'Loch' which is a bit more difficult to describe as the sound doesn't exist in English, but if you say a hard 'C' sound whilst lightly clearing your throat you'll get a close approximation of the sound.
