I've gone on Google and researched this, but every website I've looked on just says how many calories you burn in a certain amount of time doing jumping jacks. That isn't a very good way to put it because some people do jumping jacks faster than others.

You don't burn a set amount for each activity you do, it all really depends. One jumping jack at the beginning will burn fewer calories than the last one in the set, since your body has warmed up and needs more energy to sustain the activity. Besides, those counts that you'll see online are averages: they're based on the average person at the average rate. Those rates can change even day to day. Not much, but a little. The idea here is the overall effect, not specific amounts for specific activities.

it is impossible to measure the amount of calories that are expended for one repetition of any exercise. the intensity that exercise is performed at ultimately determines how much energy is expended during exercise. an educated guess for one jumping jack would be less than 1/3 of a calorie
