Some details: I plan on hanging out with her n all but it won't be the same..won't be every day every minute...plus in the dorms we were 10 doors away and back home its more like 2-3 hours :(

also I still got 2 finals left so i need to study yet can't seem to do so. Can't get her out of my mind. Are there any drugs that can help reduce depression?

Well, of course, there are anti-depressant drugs and you should be on them immediately if you are, indeed, clinically depressed.

There is a difference between being sad and upset and being depressed.

Do a little Internet research - there are some excellent sites that will help you. One is:

One thing that helps with either sadness or depression is physical exercise. another is helping someone else - taking on a project as helping tutor a child - it actually changes your chemistry! It's good for you, which is not to discount how badly one can feel from missing someone important to us. You can help yourself, tho.

Call you local mental health association to get help, too.

Staying busy will help the time pass quickly while waiting to be reunited with the girl you care for.

good luck!

If it is just the girl, then just wait it out. Of course you are down in the dumps over this, but it will just take some time. Keep yourself busy and get out there and have some fun. Exercise and eating right will help, too. If it is more than that, however, then there is ONE thing you can do if you have "extreme" depression. Go to the doctor and discuss it with them. Depression is a biological condition caused my the chemicals in your brain. Through therapy or medication, it can be beaten. Get thee to the doctor!

some people say "love hurts" i think it is true. at least it is temporary for you, it is not like you broke up with her forever. a talk with a psychiatrist to determin whether anti-depressants or talk therapy would help would be a good thing for you to do, if you will be patient and keep busy hopefully you will be ok good luck
