I don't know but they don't show any common sense when they decide which questions to delete. How could anyone be offended by an online group helping someone in a time of crisis? I'm not a Christian, but I still think it was a great gesture of kindness, what her husband wrote. The Yamsters should be ashamed of themselves.

Yeah, it's a horrible question to have on here (I'm being sarcastic here).

Her husband asked for prayer for her because she went into a Coma after surgery the Debra M is one of our regulars and is one of the most compassionate on here. The message got deleted supposedly since it violated R&S guidelines. The outpouring of the answers showed the best of what our group can be and they felt it was inappropriate.

In other words, let's banish prayer as it is inappropriate?

That stuns and infuriates me. How could anyone be that cold? The poor man just asked for prayers for his comatose wife, and someone managed to get the question deleted.

There are times when I wonder why anyone with a heart and a conscience even bothers with this forum.

Edit:

They just deleted my question requesting prayer for her, too. I hope those who are responsible are happy now.

They're completely sick. They did the same thing to another regular, Aeryn Whitley, after her fiance got killed. One of the few times everyone on here come together for the greater good, and the Yamster has to spoil it. Words can't describe how sickened I am by this.

They don't have hearts because they have no circulatory systems. They get their energy from nuclear waste in the cells of their bodies and reproduce by fission. That is why they glow in the dark and were involved in the nuclear test ban treaties of the 70's and 80's.

there are some twisted folks out there...and SOMEONE needs an attitude adjustment...of course, debra will just come back and pray for them with her usual hearty helping of love, respect, and good humor

What's sad is that even if they do admit that it was a wrongful deletion, they will not restore the question. So all the nice answers are lost forever.

And I missed it! Is she okay?

[EDIT] Thank you, Searcher (below); this breaks my heart. Prayer commencing immediately, and I will see about having her remembered at Mass tomorrow.

[EDIT AGAIN] They did the same thing to Orion when he posted about his son and there was an outpouring from this community that transcended personal beliefs -- all of it, gone.

[LAST EDIT, I PROMISE] This really, really ... bites. And yes, a nice Christian grandma is allowed to say that when it fits.

That was seriously wrong. Something like that was not harming anyone and should have been left alone.

Unless it was a troll and then said troll should be shot at sunrise.
