Quite honestly, I wouldn't put a hungry man meal anywhere near my mouth. The sodium, preservatives, and calories that go into one box is absolutely ridiculous. I would suggest that you buy a cheap cut of meat from the store, a few potatoes, and a dessert. You will be more healthy doing it this way and it's worth it in the end.

Reviving in defense of Hungry Man, just in case some other poor sap wanders here like I did. Eat them, the other options are much worse. As someone who actually doesn't have time to cook, I would argue that my other options (fast food, other less complete microwaveable entrees like El-Monterey Chimichangas, as tasty as they might be), are much worse, simply due to the amount of basic vitamins and minerals you are missing out on. Hungry Man dinners include starches, vegetables, proteins in all meals. Its more balanced than a burger and fries any day.
Don't believe the ridiculous comparisons to other foods that are obviously less rounded in composition (like peanut butter pies? seriously?).
Here's an analogy. Is it better to use dip/chewing tobacco or smoke? Public health experts would tell you behind closed doors that it's better to dip, simply by the (proportional) number of people who die from smoking related disease versus disease caused by other forms of tobacco. Of course, no one ever says "Yeah thats a good idea, switch to dip" mostly because they have no idea what its like to be a tobacco user and they see them as equal evils, when the actual scientific facts suggest otherwise.
All of the people commenting here probably couldn't take a single ingredient on the back of a Hungry Man package and produce any significant research to reinforce their claims that they are harmful. I say eat up, I eat them all the time, I feel much better than when I went with option A.

no, why? no meals that are pepackaged and has to be microwaved are good for you . first of all they have to [process the vegetables and use preservatives so that they won`t go bad which ofcourse means they are not fresh . anything that has to be enhanced by preservatives to prolong it`s life can never be good for you.~~ in general micowave cooking is not something that should be done o a regular basus it is the fastest way for some of us to get a meal prepared based on our busy lives but that does`nt make it healthy, filling ?yes! tasty? sure.! hey it`s totally up to you anyway as most of the food we consume nowadays aren`t good for you anyways because of all the fertilizers that the farmers or growers use so eat in moderation don`t over do it .
eat drink and be merry. peace out

it typically depends on how many calories u take in and out daily and if you exercise. My brother eats them and they are about 900 something calories. Your going to have to read the labels for fat and calorie count on the back. For instance...If your a man that is over 200 pounds and exercise 4 to 6 times a week...u can eat 3300 calories to maintain your body weight...eating under 3300 will result in slow weight loss and more will result in weight gain. If you are an active man weight 180 it's 3100 calores. If your not active at 180 its 2400...and at 200 pounds or more 2600 if u aren't active(add 100 calories for every 10 pounds over 200 pounds). So basically it depends on your overall diet. Two a week shouldnt hurt. As far as fat grams goes...maximum fat intake daily for active men is 40 to 80 grams...so if your eating more than that daily and your not active then it may become a problem.

Unless you've been hiding under a rock for the last couple years, I'm sure you've heard of the Paleo Diet. Read here https://tr.im/thepaleodiet
I hate to even call it a diet, because it's really just the real way that humans have eaten for almost 1.9 Million years, as opposed to the modern-day processed food diet full of grains, sugars, and processed vegetable oils.

about as healthy as a peanut butter pie from Marie Calendars. read the label. the longer the list of ingredients the more processed the food item is and the less actual bioavailable nutrients there are.
cooking for one isn't that hard, plus eating shouldn't be as big of a deal as people make of it. there are hundreds of meals that can be cooked in 30 minutes or less. but if you think your health isn't worth it then don't sweat it and eat whatever is the easiest to prepare, afterall it's your life and health
